"With a fabric like this, you see it and you automatically think of traditional tailored clothing in films. But just because it's traditional doesn't mean you can't have small, updated twists like softer tailoring on the shoulders. My take on clothing is fairly simple. If the fabric is louder, you should let it speak and have everything else be subtle with textures. The grenadine ties work wonderfully for that. Since the chalk stripe is prominent, I prefer the straight jet pockets because they give a clean line. With the pants I chose pleats, a 5cm cuff, and side adjusters to complete that traditional look. I also made them high waisted to enhance a slimmer waistline. It shows elegance without being over the top but still commands the room. Anyone that has watched the movie Kingsmen will understand what I mean. If you require a confidence booster, this is it."
